I would personally acquire a generation 2 Ford GT. With a 550hp V8 in white with blue stripes like the one pictured above. I also wouldn’t tell my family I was rich and then I would come home and pull into the drive way they would all be amazed.
Also lets just take a minute to appreciate three of the finest American cars ever made.

Either a V60 Polestar or an Allroad. Gotta be responsible to start off with. It’d be followed up by a 2012 Boss 302.

A nice B-body, then I’d restore it before they all disappear. Yes, I’m weird that way.

Honestly this question has always been simple for me, as there are two cars that hold the pole position as my dream car: a 2004 Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale, and a 1996 Dodge Viper GTS. The former in red with the center stripe, the latter in blue with the twin white stripes.

Aston Martin Virage V8 Vantage V600
600BHP luxury supercar with too many superchargers.
It’s not pretty. But it’s both classy and insane at the same time.
It really shouldn’t work, but I love it either way. Price is a bit steep though, but that’s what this challenge is for, right?

Lancia Delta S4 Stradale. LOOK AT THAT AIR INTAKE!

I agree. I’d start by opening a garage and then fix what I have (or pay someone else to fix it).

Syclone, Typhoon, buy another truck like mine but in 2WD and sport suspension, fix all the issues that GM should have dealt with in smallbeartruck’s MK1 and MK2.
And the rest, save.

Singer 911 without a doubt, but knowing that they have to be built the first car that I would buy and take ownership of would be for my fiancee. A G500 4x4² in whatever color she desires.
I would then vacation for a couple of months until I made any other car purchases. Otherwise I think I would go nuts and end up with too many.

Ferrari GTC4 Lusso (FF). I’d probably be the only person in the North East who would drive it during the winter. There’s a ton of cars I’d want to get, but the FF (new name is too long) has always stood as one of the most ridiculous cars on the road. It’s a front-mid engined V12 shooting brake Ferrari with comfortable seating for 4 and AWD. What the hell is there not to love with something so out there?
![]() 06/22/2016 at 16:30 |

I dunno, part of me wants to run out and buy a fuck-you-sized, mid-00's, American, 4wd, body-on-frame SUV (and a sizeable portion of Exxon stock to go with it)...
Another part of me would be equally excited to buy a Tesla S P90D.
And still another part of me wants to hunt down a clean ‘95 Honda Accord, for old time sakes.
Do I contradict myself?
Very well, then I contradict myself, I am large, I contain multitudes.

I’d buy a trio of NSXs. One early one to daily, one later one in Imola Orange with a Comptech supercharger for track days, and an R for car shows.
I’d use some more of the money for other fun stuff, but some I’d save and some I’d use to help others. I'd keep my job.

Honda S2000. Always wanted one, always came up with excuses to not buy one.
offtopic: After that it depends on the amount, but would be around 10% of the earnings and would be no more than three cars in the garage, of course replacing them as they get boring.

Step 1: buy this
Because I think it’s the most beautiful coupe made in modern times.
Step 2: drive to Arizona and pick up this

Step 3: Drive to LA, use my lottery money to hire some professional thieves, steal this.

Step 5: Buy an F-Type

A Nissan Versa, as basic as it comes. I know the theory of driving manual, but I haven’t done it yet. Might as well do it in a brand new car, all while keeping my fortune intact.
Once I’ve mastered it, I’ll donate the Versa to someone who really needs a car and then I’ll get a Spyker. The old ones with the round intakes.

Semi-retiring and socking away the funds to do any and all horrible projects is my endorsement, tbh. You don’t have to make back the money on the APU-powered Studebaker project, so don’t bother trying! Do it anyway! That kind of thing.

Assuming I have to be able to drive home in it tonight (no dream swaps, etc) I would have to say Evora S
From there I think it would one offs and restorations. Starting with my 80 series I would have it completely refurbished inside and out with maybe a manual swap. For my DD I would probably get an LS600h, just because I like idea of super discrete smooth sailing.
![]() 06/22/2016 at 16:55 |

If it’s something like the US Powerball, probably a Tesla Model S P90D... which would be my primary ‘reliable car’.
As for what I’d buy next, THAT is the real question. I wouldn’t amass a big collection of cars. But I would want to have at least one fun/interesting car... or even just a car that I’ve always wondered ‘what would it be like to own/drive that’.
![]() 06/22/2016 at 17:00 |

A 70 series Land Cruiser with factory lockers and PTO winch.
I would have ICON 4x4 go through it and add their mirrors, seats, console, and have them make a custom front bumper and canvas top (if convertible).

That’s a solid choice. I might go Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato.

Mine would probably be a 2016 M5. The reasoning is I could drive to the local dealership and get one. My second car would be a Ferrari 488, I could drive the M5 while I waited for 488 to get delivered to my front door.

A low-mileage F-250 King Ranch with the 7.3, and then a 993 widebody with an NA 3.8. Also a 2011 Saab 9-5 Aero wagon.

I’d buy some commercial space and start my own classic car club. First car... tough choice... so many options! I’d probably look for a really clean Datsun 240/260/280 that’s stock looking but with a Rebello stroker and itbs.

A Gen 1 Focus RS from E. Yurop.
I don’t care if it’s crap. I’ve wanted one from the first time I saw a picture. And since you can’t legally import one, I would have to wait to have all the parts shipped over, buy a donor car and then combine them. I’d also update the engine to the 2.3L Duratec and do a mild turbo build; say about 250HP at the wheels. Nothing fast enough to send me to jail, but still quick enough to have fun.
If the ‘rules’ were we had to be able to drive it home today, then I’m not sure. I am quite happy with my GTI, and have gotten a mods budget approved by the finance dept (aka my wife).
I suppose I could find a tasty older ‘Yota LC and plan on updating it.
As much as I would want a 911 by Singer, I would be too afraid to drive it anywhere.

The current MegaMillions jackpot is $363 million. Cash option, taxes, etc....tap tap tap.....carry the 1........so figure I walk away with $150 million. I’d bank $100 mil, and have $50,000,000 to play with.
It’d be safe to say I’d be in Pebble Beach in August, and I’ll be sitting up front. Why buy a reproduction Ford GT when you can have the real thing???
